Liverpool return to Premier League action when they travel to face Wolves on Saturday.

The Reds cruised to a 5-1 win against struggling West Ham United in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, setting up a clash with Brighton and Hove Albion in the next round.

Arne Slot has started his tenure at Anfield with four wins from his first five Premier League games, as well as victories in both the Champions League and League Cup.

Despite their strong start, it has been claimed that the Reds are set to completely revamp their attacking options next summer.

As reported by CaughtOffside, the Merseyside outfit are eyeing moves for at least two attackers at the end of the season.

Salah faces an uncertain future at Anfield as he approaches the expiry of his contract

Both Salah and Darwin Nunez face uncertain futures at Anfield, with the former’s contract set to expire next summer and the latter has struggled for consistency and Liverpool are said to be considering replacing the Uruguayan.

Salah was the subject of a huge offer from Saudi Arabia last year, and he currently has less than 10 months remaining on his contract.

Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams is said to be a target for the club if Salah does depart when his contract expires, while Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres could be a potential replacement for Nunez.

Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon – who formerly played for Liverpool’s fierce rivals Everton – is also a target in the wide areas, while Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is admired by some at the club.

Nunez, 25, joined the Reds from Benfica two years ago and has since scored 34 times in 102 games.

Salah, on the other hand, has netted a remarkable 215 goals in 356 appearances for Liverpool since his 2017 switch from Italian side Roma.
