Liverpool Predicted XI: We predict Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI as his side travel to Crystal Palace in the lunchtime kick off in the Premier League.

Manager Klopp will be hoping his side can build on their last-minute win against 2nd placed Tottenham midweek and extend their lead at the top of the table.

Given the early kick off, the Reds can guarantee they stay top after the weekend round of games if they take all three points at Selhurst Park.

Once again, Klopp will have to manage the injury problems throughout his squad and the much talked about, heavy fixture load he believes his side has suffered.

On the other side of the field, the Eagles are unbeaten in their last three games and drew 1-1 with Tottenham at home last weekend.

Klopp’s squad will know they have a tough game on their hands.

Here we predict the Liverpool’s starting XI…

Goalkeeper:

Klopp’s number one, Alisson has returned to the side and will be expecting to keep his spot in the starting XI at Selhurst Park. The Brazilian endured a busy night against Tottenham midweek, especially in the early part of the second half. He will be hoping the Reds defence in front of him are able to keep Wilfried Zaha and co quiet.

Defenders:

Joel Matip is the only senior recognised defender in the Liverpool squad but has been suffering with a back complaint which kept him out against Spurs. We expect Klopp not to risk another injury and instead start with Fabinho and youngster Rhys Williams who both started against Spurs. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are likely to keep their place in the full back positions.

Midfielders:

Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returning to the squad in midweek was fantastic news for Klopp and we expect the former to start tomorrow. Jordan Henderson will continue to provide much-needed experience in the midfield whilst goalscoring heroRoberto Firmino is likely to sit in front of the midfield three. We believe Gini Wijnaldum and Curtis Jones will be given a well-deserved rest.

Forwards:

Sadio Mane had a tough night up against Spurs defender Serge Aurier in midweek, but we expect the Senegal international to keep his place in the side. Mohamed Salah is enjoying a good run of goalscoring form and is likely to keep in place in the side. However, we expect Divock Origi to be given a chance in the side as Klopp looks to rotate his players to keep his squad fresh.

Predicted Liverpool XI vs Crystal Palace: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Williams, Robertson; Henderson, Keita, Firmino; Salah, Mane, Origi.
