Liverpool ready to lodge £15m bid to replace ‘keeper Simon Mignolet

Liverpool are reportedly ready to stump up £15m to sign Uruguay international Fernando Muslera.

The Premier League side, who defeated league leaders Leicester City 1-0 at Anfield on Boxing Day, are thought to be preparing a January swoop for the Galatasaray shot stopper.

The 29-year-old, who has 77 international caps for his country, has kept five clean sheets in 23 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish giants so far this season.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring in some fresh faces to Anfield in the New Year, with current number one shot stopper Simon Mignolet dividing opinion among Liverpool fans over his inconsistent form between the sticks.
