Liverpool are reportedly ready to rival Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid in the race to sign Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, according to L’Equipe via the Daily Express.

Despite only joining the Ligue 1 outfit from Caen last summer, the 20-year-old has gone on to make 25 appearances with a number of eye-catching displays out wide, which has impressed scouts from a number of European clubs, including Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Despite this, the youngster has been relegated to the bench in recent weeks by manager Leonardo Jardim, and is said to be unhappy as he is keen to play as much first team football as possible.

That potential unhappiness has alerted Liverpool and two other European giants, although the English club are understood to the front-runners for the France Under-21 international, who could be tempted to choose a move to the Premier League after seeing the impact that Anthony Martial has made after joining Manchester United last summer.
