Liverpool will win the Premier League title for just the second time ever if they avoid defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.

The Merseyside outfit currently sit 12 points clear at the top of the standings and need just a single point from their final five matches to get their hands on the trophy.

Arne Slot has enjoyed a superb debut season domestically, although he will likely be disappointed with his side’s performance in Europe as they were knocked out of the Champions League at the last 16 stage.

This summer, Slot will likely want to bolster his squad having only added Federico Chiesa to his squad since taking charge of the Reds last summer.

One area of the pitch that the Dutchman will want to address is left-back, and it appears that the Merseyside outfit are chasing a Premier League defender.

According to TBR Football,  Liverpool remain interested in Fulham full-back Antonee Robinson.

Robinson is a target for Liverpool

The report claims that the Reds’ search for a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson has lead them to identify a number of targets.

Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez has also been of interest to the league leaders, but the report claims that Liverpool also still hold an interest in Robinson.

The 27-year-old has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League over the past couple of seasons, but his impressive displays haven’t gone unnoticed.

In total the American has played 186 times for the Cottagers since joining from Wigan Athletic in 2020, including 35 appearances this season.

It is claimed that, while Kerkez remains Liverpool’s most likely summer signing, some members of the club’s hierarchy would prefer a move for US international Robinson.

The Fulham star is under contract in West London until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but the Cottagers may face a battle to keep hold of the player beyond this summer.
