Liverpool are reportedly considering moving in for former Real Madrid ‘keeper Antonio Adan.

The Star believe the ‘keeper now of Real Betis has impressed Reds boss Jurgen Klopp who is growing frustrated with current goalkeepers Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.

The 29 year-old has emerged as a bargain buy for Liverpool, with his release clause rumoured to be £6.8m.

Liverpool will have to fend off Marseille for Adan’s signature – the League 1 giants are keen to add another player of quality to their books after signing West Ham rebel Dimitri Payet last week.

As aforementioned, the Liverpool shot-stopper position is a headache for Klopp.

Loris Karius has struggled to establish himself as the number one and was subsequently dropped by Klopp in mid-December. However Mignolet’s return to the starting XI has yet to improve his fortunes as the Reds recently crashed out of two tournaments in the space of a week.
