Liverpool will hope to continue their strong start to the new Premier League season when they host Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Reds have won all three of their matches so far, most recently when cruising to a 3-0 win over rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.

New manager Arne Slot has made an impressive start to life at Anfield, and the Dutchman will be confident about his side’s chances of beating Forest on Saturday.

In the meantime, though, one of Liverpool’s most important players is reportedly attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

As per El Nacional via Football Insider, forward Mohamed Salah has attracted interest from Italian club Juventus and French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Salah has around ten months remaining on his current contract with Liverpool

The Egyptian recently entered into the final year of his current contract with the Reds, and he said following the win over United that it had been his ‘final game’ at Old Trafford.

Salah, 32, has scored a staggering 214 goals in 352 games for Liverpool since joining from Roma in 2017, as well as registering 92 assists.

He provided two assists and scored the third during Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over the Red Devils earlier this month.

Despite his age, the forward remains one of the Reds’ most important players and those in charge of the club are believed to be intent on agreeing a new deal with the player.

According to the report, though, both Juventus and PSG are monitoring the player’s situation with a view to potentially signing him on a free transfer next summer.

As well as Salah, teammates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are also in the final year of their respective contracts, but the report suggests that Liverpool are keen to agree new deals with all three players.
