Liverpool can take a huge step towards the Premier League title by beating West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

Arne Slot’s side have established an 11-point lead at the top of the table and, with just seven games remaining, the Reds are overwhelming favourites to lift the trophy for just the second time in their history.

The league leaders will be boosted by the news that talisman Mohamed Salah is set to remain at the club beyond this summer.

Salah had been set to be out of contract this summer, but the Egyptian signed a new two-year deal on Friday and will therefore be part of Slot’s squad next term.

It appears, however, that one member of Slot’s squad could be on his way out of Anfield this summer after a disappointing individual campaign.

According to CaughtOffside, forward Federico Chiesa is attracting interest from other Premier League clubs and sides in his native Italy.

Chiesa previously played for Juventus

The Italian has endured a frustrating first season in England having joined from Juventus last summer, and the report claims that unnamed top flight sides are monitoring his situation.

Chiesa, 27, has scored twice and provided two assists in 12 appearances so far this term, but is yet to start a Premier League match.

Italian side AC Milan are also said to be showing interest in the forward, while fellow Serie A side Napoli are believed to have pondered a move for the player during the recent January transfer window.

The Italy international is contracted to the Reds until 2028 having signed a long-term deal when he joined the club, but the report suggests that Liverpool would allow him to leave the club this summer for a fee in the region of £20-25 million.
