Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has stalled talks over a contract extension amid interest from a number of European clubs.

According to Christian Falk, the Senegalese attacker has been distracted by interest from French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The German claims that, if Mane is to leave Merseyside, his most likely destination is the French capital.

The reporter claims that the Ligue 1 side’s interest in the Senegal international has caused him to slow down talks with his current side over a new deal.

The player has also been enticed by the wages on offer, while German champions Bayern Munich are also interested in the player.

It was recently reported that Mane had grown frustrated at the way he had been treated by the Reds, who he believes have prioritised a new deal for Mohamed Salah.

Mane has reportedly had his head turned by interest from PSG

PSG reportedly became aware of Mane’s situation, and now believe that they may be able to lure him away from Anfield.

The forward’s current deal with Liverpool will expire next summer, and talks over an extension have progressed slowly.

Mane has been crucial to much of Liverpool’s success in recent seasons, and has scored 22 goals across all competitions so far this term.

The Senegal international has won six trophies during his six years on Merseyside, including the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup.

Liverpool have signed both Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz over the past year, though, and it is likely that at least two of their current crop of attackers will leave the club this summer.
