Liverpool could face losing both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in the next 12 months, with reports stating that the latter has changed his mind over his Anfield future.

As per The Daily Mirror, the Egyptian has revealed to close friends that he was intent on extending his stay in Merseyside until Barcelona registered an interest in him.

It is claimed that Salah was ready to sign a new deal with his current club but has now performed a u-turn after the La Liga side revealed their interest, reportedly offering the 29-year-old the chance to move to the Nou Camp next summer.

The ex-Chelsea star, who shared the Premier League’s golden boot award with Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son this season, has spent five seasons in red, scoring 156 goals in 254 games for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Salah’s future is in doubt after Barcelona offered him the chance to join the club next summer

His future has been in doubt for some time now though, with negotiations over a contract extension having made little progress.

The player is reportedly asking for a significant pay rise that would see him become the club’s highest earner in history, but those in charge at Anfield are reluctant to break the wage structure.

Salah has insisted that he will remain with the club next season, but with Barcelona’s reported interest it now appears uncertain where he will play beyond that.
