Liverpool could win the Premier League title on Sunday if Arsenal lose to Ipswich Town and they beat Leicester City.

The Reds have topped the table for the vast majority of the campaign, and currently boast a 13-point lead over the Gunners, with just six games remaining.

Arne Slot’s side will therefore secure the title if Arsenal are beaten by Ipswich and they pick up all three points against the Foxes.

In the meantime, it has emerged that Liverpool could be willing to sell one of their defenders at a cut price this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, the Merseyside outfit could allow centre-back Jarell Quansah to leave for a fee of around £30 million.

This is despite ongoing uncertainty surrounding the future of club captain Virgil van Dijk, who is yet to sign an extension to his current deal which is set to expire at the end of the current season.

Quansah could leave Anfield this summer

The report claims that the Newcastle United are one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in the Englishman, while Bournemouth and Brentford are also credited with an interest.

Liverpool’s fierce Merseyside rivals Everton are also said to be eyeing a potential move for the centre-back.

Quansah, 22, has emerged from the Reds’ youth academy over the past couple of seasons and has now played 56 times for the club at senior level.

He has failed to establish himself as a regular starter in Slot’s side, though, and the report claims that he could therefore be allowed to leave the club this summer having started just two of their 32 Premier League matches so far this term.

Quansah is under contract with Liverpool until the end of the 2028/29 campaign, but it appears increasingly likely that he could depart the club when the transfer window reopens this summer.
