Liverpool turned down a bid from Fenerbahce for striker Divock Origi in the summer.

The Belgium international only joined the Anfield club in the summer of 2014 for £10 million but has yet to make an impact, making just one start in the Europa League, after spending last term back on loan at former club Lille.

Despite now sitting behind Danny Ings, Christian Benteke and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers believes the 20-year-old has the ability to come good.

Origi shot to limelight with his performances for his nation at the 2014 World Cup, where he overshadowed fellow countryman Romelu Lukaku.
