Liverpool will be looking for all three points next weekend when they welcome Nottingham Forest to Anfield.

Before the international break, the Reds were held to a draw at the Amex Stadium by Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton and Hove Albion side.

Two first-half goals from winger Mohammed Salah weren’t enough to see the Merseyside outfit secure all three points on the south coast.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have made a solid start to the campaign with their only defeat coming against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds have picked up 17 points from eight Premier League games, which means they currently sit in fourth place.

Liverpool will be looking to bolster their squad in January and next summer, and it appears that the Merseyside outfit have already set their sights on a Bundesliga midfielder.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool are doing their due diligence on a potential move for Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala.

The report claims that the young star is frustrated with the game time he has received so far under Thomas Tuchel.

Musiala is frustrated with his game time this season after starting only two games so far in the Bundesliga

Musiala, 20, has come through the youth academy at Bayern Munich after spending brief time with the academies of Chelsea and Southampton.

The German international has made 133 senior appearances for the Bavarians; in those games, he struck 32 goals and notched 25 assists.

The young star has also secured 25 caps for Germany, scoring two goals.

However, he has only featured in four Bundesliga games this term, starting only twice.

Musiala has reportedly been locked in contract talks with the Bavarian giants, but Liverpool could make a move for the player if they struggle to agree a new deal.

His current deal ties him down to the club until 2026.
