Liverpool target €20m-rated La Liga hitman

Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a January move for Argentinean striker Luciano Vietto.

The Premier League side, who drew 2-2 with League Two Exeter City in the FA Cup on Friday night, are understood to be interested in signing the Atletico Madrid star this month.

The 22-year-old, who is a former Argentina Under-20 international, has scored three goals in 15 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga leaders so far this season.

In an attempt to boost his side’s chances of finishing in the top four this campaign, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has identified Vietto as a forward who could help the Anfield outfit during the second-half of this campaign.

The young striker only joined Atletico from Spanish rivals Villarreal back in June for a reported €20m.
