Youngsters Christopher Nkunku and Lamine Ba have reportedly been earmarked as Jurgen Klopp’s potential first signings for Liverpool.

The German manager, who succeeded former boss Brendan Rodgers at Anfield earlier this month, is thought to be keen on both the Paris Saint-Germain players’ development and creating a legacy at the Premier League club ahead of the January transfer window.

Nkunku, 17,  is an attacking midfielder who has already scored three goals in seven UEFA Youth League games so far this season, although he is yet to make his first-team debut for PSG.

Meanwhile 18-year-old Ba, who is a centre-half, is also yet to make his first-team bow for the defending Ligue 1 champions.

Having picked up just three league wins all season so far; former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp is desperate to rejuvenate the Liverpool squad from top to bottom, with youth players a key priority for the new Premier League coach.
