Liverpool will sell out-of-favour defender Mamdou Sakho in the January window, according to Sky Sports News HQ reporter, Vinny O’Connor (via Daily Star).
The France international, who has not made a single first team appearance for the Reds this season, fell out with manager Jurgen Klopp over the summer after a number of disciplinary issues.
The former Paris Saint-Germain man was also left out of the U23 on Monday amid links away from Anfield.
Whilst La Liga side Sevilla are reportedly interested in a move for the centre-half, they will face Premier League competition for his signature.
Struggling Southampton are also interested in a move for the £20m rated man, after captain Jose Fonte handed in a transfer request earlier this month.
The Liverpool man is supposedly keen on a move to St. Mary’s in order to link up with his compatriot, Saints boss Claude Puel.
The 26-year-old has made 80 appearances since moving to Merseyside, scoring three goals.
