Six Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Slovenia international Josip Ilicic this summer, according to Football Italia.
Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Watford and West Brom are all understood to be after the in-demand Fiorentina midfielder ahead of the forthcoming 2016/17 campaign.
The 28-year-old, who has 38 international caps for his country, scored 15 goals and provided a further six assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit last season.
Ilicic, who has also featured for Maribor and Palermo in the past, has attracted a cluster of Premier League clubs following an impressive campaign in the Italian top-flight.
The report suggests that title-winning Leicester City are the favourites to land the Slovenian, who cost Fiorentina £7.7m back in July 2013.
Fans may recognise Ilicic’s familiar face after the midfielder featured for Slovenia against England during the qualifying stages for EURO 2016, with the Three Lions prevailing 3-2 back in June 2015.
