Liverpool have reportedly slapped a £27m price tag on Belgium international striker Divock Origi, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Premier League side, who have signed Fabinho (AS Monaco), Naby Keita (RB Leipzig), Xherdan Shaqiri (Stoke City), Isaac Christie-Davies (Chelsea) and Alisson Becker (AS Roma) so far this summer, have been linked with offloading the forward before the close of the transfer window on August 9.

The 23-year-old, who has 25 international caps for his country, but was not included in Belgium’s squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup this summer in Russia, spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

Origi scored seven goals and provided three assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for the German club.

The Belgian has netted 21 times in 77 Liverpool outings overall, following his £10m move from Lille back in July 2014.

However, his time at Anfield could be coming to an end as the report suggests the club have placed a £27m price tag on Origi, with La Liga outfit Valencia understood to be interested in his services.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to trim his first-team squad ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, with up to seven departures potentially taking place over the next fortnight.
