Despite having the likes of Daniel Sturridge and £32m summer signing Christian Benteke in their ranks, Liverpool’s top goalscorer in the Premier League so far this season is from a slightly unlikely source in the form of Roberto Firmino, but we think he might just stay there.

The Brazilian has often been deployed in the ‘false nine’ position by Jurgen Klopp this term, and has certainly repaid the faith of  his German boss by netting eight times, including the equaliser in the 2-1 win against Crystal Palace last Sunday.

With Benteke seemingly out of favour and Sturridge continuing to struggle with getting a consistent run on the pitch because of injury, the former Hoffenheim star will certainly be hoping that he can reach double figures before the end of the campaign.
