Liverpool could reportedly receive an offer from AC Milan for forward Daniel Sturridge this summer, according to Talksport.
The Premier League side, who have dropped down to fifth spot in the top-flight standings following Monday night’s 3-1 defeat to Leicester City, have been linked with offloading the England international following the conclusion of the current 2016-17 campaign.
The 27-year-old, who has 25 international caps for the Three Lions, has scored six goals and provided three assists in 21 appearances in all competitions for The Reds so far this season.
Sturridge, who arrived at Anfield back in January 2013 following his move from Premier League rivals Chelsea, has started just five league games this term under manager Jurgen Klopp.
The report suggests Serie A giants AC Milan are considering a summer swoop for the out of favour Liverpool star, who has netted 60 times in 113 games overall – a goalscoring ratio better than a strike every other game.
Fellow top-flight outfit West Ham United have also been linked with Sturridge’s services.
