As we have said with many other teams, despite Chelsea’s poor start to the season, winning at Stamford Bridge is still impressive.

And the 3-1 success was made even more special with the fact that it was Jurgen Klopp’s first Premier League win in charge of the Reds, at the third attempt, and that they also came from a goal down.

Liverpool celebrate their second goal in front of their fans.

When Ramires opened the scoring for the hosts after four minutes, some fans might have felt the worst, but the champions certainly aren’t what they were last season, and their visitors knew it.

Philippe Coutinho netted an important equaliser on the stroke of half-time, before he added a second and Christian Benteke a third to wrap up the points for the Merseysiders.
