Sadio Mane’s Liverpool career could officially end in the coming days, with the forward set for a medical with Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

The Senegalese attacker told the Reds that he wanted to leave the club at the end of the season, and Bayern quickly registered their interest.

The Bundesliga champions had at least one offer for the player rejected by Liverpool, but the two clubs have now agreed a fee believed to be around £35 million.

According to Sky Sports, the 30-year-old’s medical will take place in Germany on Tuesday, meaning that official confirmation of the move could be just days away.

Mane looks set to join Bayern Munich in the coming days

Mane will leave Liverpool after an extremely successful six year spell at Anfield, during which he has scored 120 goals and won six trophies including the Premier League and Champions League.

Liverpool are unlikely to replace Mane during the current window, with Luis Diaz having arrived at the club back in January.

Jurgen Klopp also has the likes of Diogo Jota and Fabio Carvalho available to him.

Bayern will sign Mane as they look to replace the goal scoring responsibility of Robert Lewandowski, who has publicly announced his desire to leave the club this summer.
