Liverpool are reportedly set to sign France international midfielder Nabil Fekir this summer, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final late last month, have been continuously linked with a move for the Lyon star ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
The 24-year-old, who has 11 international caps for his country, scored an impressive 23 goals and provided eight assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.
Fekir, who is a youth graduate of the Ligue 1 outfit, has netted 57 goals in 153 games overall for the club.
The report claims the French side will allow the central attacking midfielder to join The Reds this summer, but only at the right price.France’s Nabil Fekir celebrates with Kylian Mbappe.
Fekir is contracted at Lyon until June 2020, and is valued at £54m.
It is understood a breakthrough has been made in talks to lure the Frenchman from Lyon to Anfield, as long as the price is right, with the player said to be 100 per cent decided on joining Jurgen Klopp’s side.
However, Fekir is also thought to be happy to wait until after the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia before sealing his transfer to the Premier League.
