Manchester City have won the race for Millwall youngster Darko Gyabi, according to The Sun.

The 14-year-old has moved to the Etihad for an initial £300,000 which could rise to £1million depending on what he achieves.

Having impressed for the Lions’ U16s side, the midfielder also reportedly attracted interest from both Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

An England youth international, the Catford born youngster’s playing style has been compared to that of Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

Gyabi is following in the footsteps of current Borussia Dortmund and England forward, Jadon Sancho, in making the move from the capital to the Premier League champions’ academy.

Sancho was at Man City before moving to Dortmund in 2017.

The forward then moved on to Borussia Dortmund in 2017 where he has excelled this season and picked up the Bundesliga Player of the Month Award for October.
