Manchester City came from behind to beat Leyton Orient 20-1 and avoid a humiliating FA Cup exit on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts took a shock lead at Brisbane Road when Jamie Donley’s long range strike bounced off the crossbar before hitting Stefan Ortega and rolling over the line.

Orient held on to their lead until just before the hour mark, when Rico Lewis’ shot was deflected into the net by Abdukodir Khusanov.

Substitute Kevin de Bruyne then ended Orient’s chances of a fairytale victory, with the Belgian midfielder flicking the ball past the Orient goalkeeper to put City in front in the closing stages.

The FA Cup remains arguably City’s best chance of silverware this term, considering their struggles in the Premier League and Champions League.

Despite bolster his squad with four new signings in January, Pep Guardiola appears to still be on the hunt for further new additions this summer.

As per Football Insider, City are eyeing moves for Juventus star Andrea Cambiaso and AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez.

Cambiaso remains a target for Manchester City

The report claims that the Citizens are on the hunt for reinforcements at full-back in the wake of Kyle Walker’s departure to AC Milan.

It is claimed that Juventus’ Cambiaso, 24, is City’s top target as they look for a new full-back, and the Premier League champions are even said to still be in talks over a move for the defender.

City did try to sign the player during the recent January transfer window, but The Old Lady were sticking to their £60 million price tag for the player and a deal therefore couldn’t be agreed.

Cambiaso – who is primarily a left-back but can also lay on the right side of defence – has played 67 times for Juventus across all competitions.

Hernandez, meanwhile, is now in the final 18 months of his current contract with Milan and the report claims that talks over an extension have failed to progress.

The Frenchman has been regarded as one of the best left-backs in Europe for some time now, but his future in Milan appears uncertain and City could look to capitalise on his situation.

Left-back has been something of a problem area for Guardiola for some time now, and it appears that the Spaniard is keen to find a solution this summer.
