Manchester City have agreed terms with Brighton and Hove Albion full-back Marc Cucurella ahead of a proposed move to The Etihad. 

The Spaniard has been heavily linked with a move to City after impressing during his debut season in English football, and it appears that a move is now close to being completed.

As per Football Insider, the 23-year-old is set to join Pep Guardiola’s side to bolster his options at left-back, with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Joao Cancelo having shared the majority of minutes in the role last season.

The player has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Citizens and has made it clear to his current side that he intends to join the Premier League champions.

The ex-Getafe man, who was named player of the year during his first season with the Seagulls, is the subject of ongoing talks between the two English sides.

Although the two clubs are currently at odds in terms of their valuations, it is believed that an agreement will be reached.
