With the transfer window fast approaching, Premier League clubs are working hard to bolster their squads this summer.

The window officially starts on June 14, but deals are already being discussed and offers made.

Premier League champions Manchester City are likely to be active during this summer’s transfer window, with Pep Guardiola’s side hoping to win a record fifth consecutive top flight title next term.

It appears, though, that the Citizens could be prepared to sell one of their most important players.

According to Football Insider, City could be willing to sell goalkeeper Ederson this summer.

The 30-year-old is regarded as one of the best ‘keepers in world football, but the report claims that City won’t stand in the Brazilian’s way if he does push for a move away from The Etihad.

Ederson could leave Man City this summer

Ederson joined City from Portuguese side Benfica back in 2017 and has since played 332 times for the club, keeping 155 clean sheets.

During his time in Manchester, the Brazil international has won no fewer than 17 trophies including six Premier League titles and the Champions League.

It is claimed that the ‘keeper is a target for clubs in the Saudi Arabian Pro League, with City bracing themselves for a significant offer for the player.

Ederson himself is considering the benefits of a move to the Middle East, and City won’t stand in the player’s way if he does wish to depart.

The player’s current contract is set to run until the end of the 2026=5/26 campaign.
