Manchester City will face fierce rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final for a second successive season.

City booked their place in next month’s final by beating Chelsea 1-0 on Saturday, before the Red Devils required penalties to overcome Championship side Coventry City on Sunday, after surrendering a 3-0 lead in normal time.

Pep Guardiola’s side are hoping to defend their Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup titles this season, and they will be firm favourites to beat United at Wembley.

In the meantime, though, it has emerged that City could sell one of their key players this summer.

According to Football Insider, the Manchester outfit would be open to listening to offers for Jack Grealish during the upcoming transfer window.

The Englishman remains a regular starter for City, but the report claims that those in charge of the club see him as a player that could command a large fee to fund further new signings.

Grealish, 28, joined the Citizens from boyhood club Aston Villa in the summer of 2021, for a fee of around £100 million.

Grealish started City’s FA Cup semi-final victory over Chelsea on Saturday

He has since enjoyed huge success in Manchester, winning the Premier League title in his first season at the club, before being part of the treble-winning side of last term and adding both the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup to his trophy cabinet since.

The winger has scored 14 goals and provided 18 assists in 122 games for City across all competitions and has played 33 times this term, but the report suggests that Guardiola is unconvinced by the Englishman and could let him leave if a suitable offer is made.

The England international is currently contracted to The Etihad until the end of the 2026/27 campaign, but he has only started nine league games this term and his future is therefore uncertain.
