Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing €40m-rated Spain international Isco next month.

The Premier League giants, who drew 0-0 with surprise title contenders Leicester City on Tuesday night, are determined to thrash out a deal for the out-of-favour Real Madrid midfield ace during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has 12 international caps for the defending European champions, has scored three goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit this season.

However Isco, who arrived at the Bernabeu in a deal worth €30m from Malaga back in June 2013, has been left frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities under manager Rafa Benitez this term.
