Manchester City are reportedly leading Chelsea and Tottenham in the race to sign young Charlton striker Ademola Lookman.

The 18-year-old only made his debut for the Addicks at the start of November, but has already scored three goals for the Championship side, including two against Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night.

City are always looking for the best young English, shown by their purchase of Patrick Roberts from Fulham during the summer, but they will face competition for Lookman’s signature from Chelsea and Spurs, who have also scouted the attacker.

With two-and-a-half years left on his contract with the South London outfit however, it would need a sizeable offer to take him to the Etihad.
