Man City line-up £19m raid for Bundesliga gem

Manchester City are reportedly plotting a £19m January move for Germany Under-21 international gem Julian Weigl, according to Sky Sports.

The Premier League giants, who drew 0-0 at home to Everton on Wednesday night, are interested in signing the highly-rated Borussia Dortmund midfielder this month.

The 20-year-old, who only made his first-team debut back in August, has made 29 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit this season.

Weigl; who is emerging as one of Germany’s hottest properties, has a known admirer in current Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola, who has been linked with City’s managerial position come the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
