Man City are edging ever closer to finalising the deal to bring Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo to the Premier League as the ‘keeper is flying to Manchester to complete his move, according to Sky Sports.

The former Real Sociedad man is expected to have his medical before finalising the deal, which would then allow Guardiola outcast, Joe Hart to leave The Etihad.

It was reported last Friday that the deal had been agreed but an injury to Barcelona’s second choice shot-stopper, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen was holding up the deal as manager, Luis Enrique needed to find a replacement.

The 33-year-old has been linked with a move to the Sky Blues since before the former Barcelona boss arrived at his new club, with a ‘keeper who is confident with his feet being a top priority in the summer window.

Hart, who prefers to avoid keeping the ball in his possession for too long, did not help his case with a string of errors throughout the European Championships and the pre-season, and has not been involved in a single competitive fixture this season.
