Manchester City inched closer to the Premier League title on Tuesday by beating Wolves 5-1 at Molineux.

The Citizens now need just four points from their final two league matches to secure the title, although Liverpool will undoubtedly be ready to pounce if they do slip up.

Kevin De Bruyne was the match winner yet again for City, as he netted a 17-minute hat trick in the first half, before adding a fourth in the second.

Raheem Sterling then added City’s fifth late on, meaning Guardiola’s side have now scored five goals in consecutive league games.

It isn’t all good news for City, though, as it appears that they could be set to lose striker Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilain, City’s only recognised centre forward until Erling Braut Haaland arrives next month, is in talks with Arsenal over a proposed move.

Jesus looks likely to leave City this summer

As per The Guardian, the player’s agent has revealed that the striker has held talks with the Gunners, amid reports of a £50 million move.

As per the report, Marcelo Pettinati has also claimed that as many as six other clubs are interested in the Brazil international.

We had talks with Arsenal about Gabriel Jesus,” the agent said. “We like the project – it’s a possibility we’re discussing. There are six more clubs interested in Gabriel. He’s focused on the final games with Man City; we’ll see.”

Jesus, 25, is set to be out of contract at City in the summer of 2023, but he recently refused to commit to the club for any longer amid the impending arrival of Haaland.

The striker has 13 goals and provided 12 assists across all competitions so far this term, taking his tally for Manchester City to 95 goals and 46 assists in 234 matches.

Arsenal could be in the market for aa striker this summer with both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah nearing the end of their contracts.
