Manchester City will hope to move a step closer to retaining the Premier League title when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.

The Citizens had moved top of the table by beating Fulham 4-0 on Saturday, but Arsenal moved back into first place on Sunday by beating Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Pep Guardiola’s side will win a fourth consecutive title if they win their final two matches, and the Spaniard will hope to see his side pick up all three points against Spurs on Tuesday.

In the meantime, though, the two sides have been informed of one of their transfer target’s price tag.

According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace will demand a fee in excess of £70 million to consider selling Eberechi Eze this summer.

Eze is set to be the subject of interest from elsewhere this summer

The Englishman has attracted interest from both City and Spurs, but the Eagles will demand a significant fee.

Eze, 25, joined Palace from Queen’s Park Rangers in 2020 and has since made 123 appearances for the club across all competitions.

He has scored 24 goals in that time, as well as providing 16 assists.

This season he has scored nine goals in 26 Premier League matches, most recently netting in a 3-1 win over Wolves on Saturday.

The report claims that Palace will be in a commanding position this summer as Eze signed a new long-term contract with the club last year.

The deal is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season, and Palace will therefore demand a significant fee to let the attacker leave.

The England international could have his sights set on playing European football next term, the report claims, and both City and Tottenham could therefore be of interest to the player himself.
