Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Feyenoord full-back Tyrell Malacia, according to reports.

As per Sky Sports, the Red Devils have agreed to pay an initial £13 million for the left-back, with an additional £1.7 million in potential add-ons and a sell-on clause also included.

Personal terms are yet to be agreed with the 22-year-old, although it is believed that they will not be difficult to agree on as the player is keen on the idea of the move.

Malacia made 50 appearances for the Dutch side in all competitions last season, establishing himself as one of the best young players in the Eredivisie.

Malacia looks likely to become Ten Hag’s first signing as United boss

His form over the past 12 months has attracted interest from a number of top clubs from across Europe, and it is reported that French side Lyon were on the verge of signing the full-back, but it now appears that United have beaten them to it.

Malacia’s impending arrival will likely mean that Alex Telles departs Old Trafford; the defender has struggled to impress when given the chance to do so in Luke Shaw’s absence.

Ten Hag has seen first hand Malacia’s ability, as the youngster played the full 90 minutes on both occasions when his Ajax side met Feyenoord last term.
