Arsenal continued their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season with a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Gunners went ahead through a Cristian Romero own goal before Spurs captain Son Heung-Min levelled things up.

Bukayo Saka then put the hosts back in the lead, before Son once again drew Tottenham level moments later.

The result leaves Spurs and Arsenal fourth and fifth respectively in the Premier League table, with reigning champions Manchester City four points ahead.

Despite his side’s strong start to the new campaign, it appears that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his squad, although they could miss out on one of their targets.

As reported by Football Insider, Brentford full-back Aaron Hickey is happy at the West London club despite being linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.

Hickey has attracted interest from some huge clubs but is said to be happy at Brentford

The Scot joined the Bees from Italian side Bologna last year and has since impressed for Thomas Frank’s side, making 33 appearances across all competitions.

The full-back, who left Scottish side Hearts to move to Italy in 2020, is contracted to Brentford until the summer of 2026 and is said to be happy at his current club.

Hickey, 21, is also said to have attracted interest from Liverpool and German champions Bayern Munich with his impressive performances for Frank’s side.

He has started all six of Brentford’s Premier League games so far this season, and also featured in their Carabao Cup victory over Newport County.

The Scotland international is also able to play as a full-back on either flank, making him an attractive option for the likes of United and Arsenal.

Having been handed his senior international debut in March last year, Hickey has now been capped 11 times for his country.
