Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic.

The Red Devils sent a scout to watch the 19-year-old in his side’s local derby against FK Rad Beograd on Saturday, and the tall youngster impressed, scoring the opening goal in a 3-0 win from 30 yards.

With Michael Carrick and Bastian Schweinsteiger entering the twilight of their careers, Louis van Gaal is on the look our for their successors, while their Premier League rivals Chelsea have good ties with the Serbian club.

Grujic, who has been compared to Blues midfielder Nemanja Matic in his homeland, would cost around £3m.
