The Nations League returns on Thursday with England hosting Greece in one of a number of matches.

The Three Lions – under the interim leadership of Lee Carsley – currently sit second in Group B2, behind Greece on goal difference.

Victory on Thursday night would move England top of their group, and put them win a strong position to return to the top table of the Nations League after their surprise relegation during the last campaign.

Off the pitch, with the January transfer window fast approaching, it appears that Manchester United have their eyes on an international defender.

As per TEAMtalk, the Red Devils are interested in Bosnia and Herzegovina full-back Amar Dedic.

The 22-year-old currently plays for Austrian side RB Salzburg, having joined the club four years ago.

Since then he has played 85 times for Salzburg across all competitions, and his impressive displays have attracted interest from United.

It is claimed that the Red Devils will face competition from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion, as well as Italian side Napoli, for the Bosnian’s signature.

United are said to be considering a January move for the defender – who can operate as a right-back, left-back or central defender – as they look to bolster Erik ten Hag’s options at the back.

Despite United’s interest, the report suggests that Serie A giants Napoli are currently in pole position to land the Bosnia international, who has been capped 15 times by his country at senior level.

Napoli officials are set to meet with the player’s representatives during the international break to assess how likely a move is, and also how much it might cost.

With Dedic’s contract not set to expire until 2027, Salzburg will reportedly demand a fee of around £23 million for the player.
