Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag continues to face an uncertain future at the club just weeks after guiding his side to the FA Cup.

The Red Devils defeated rivals Manchester City 2-1 in last month’s final at Wembley, and it has been widely reported before the game that Ten Hag would be dismissed from his role regardless of the result.

The club have not yet announced a decision on the Dutchman’s future, though, and it appears that those in charge of United are identifying transfer targets for the upcoming window.

As per Fabrizio Romano, the Manchester outfit are considering a shock move for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.

Romano claims that United are certain to add a left-back to their ranks this summer, and the Cherries star has emerged as one of their targets.

Kerkez has emerged as a surprise target for Manchester United

Kerkez, 20, joined Bournemouth from Dutch top flight side AZ Alkmaar last summer and enjoyed an impressive debut season on the south coast.

He made 33 appearances across all competitions, including 28 Premier League games.

The Hungary international, who has already been capped 15 times by his country, has established himself as an important player for Bournemouth and the report claims that the club would demand a significant fee to allow him to leave.

United’s two current left-backs, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, have both struggled with injuries over the past year, with the latter failing to make a single appearance last term.
