Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane reached the remarkable milestone of 30 Premier League goals this season by netting a brace on the final day against Leeds United.

The England captain took his tally for the season across all competitions to 32, but was beaten to the Premier League golden boot award by the rampant Erling Haaland who netted 36 times in the competition.

Kane, whose brace helped Spurs to a 4-1 win over Leeds, has become the all-time record goal scorer for both his club and country in the past few months, but his future in north London looks increasingly uncertain.

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Tottenham and, after another trophy-less season, Kane is being linked with a move to rivals Manchester United this summer.

Now, though, it appears that the Red Devils could look elsewhere in their search for a new striker.

As per Football Insider, United are considering a move for Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund has scored five goals in four senior appearances for Denmark

The 20-year-old has scored 15 goals in 41 matches across all competitions so far this term, and his performances have attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

The report claims that the Denmark international is one of a number of players being considered by United as they search for a new striker.

United lost Cristiano Ronaldo in November last year and haven’t yet signed a permanent replacement.

Wout Weghorst arrived at Old Trafford on loan from Burnley in January but the Dutchman failed to score a Premier League goal for United and is now expected to return to the Clarets.

Erik ten Hag and those in charge of the club reportedly now see Hojlund as a cheaper alternative to the likes of Kane and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The Denmark international, who has scored five goals in four senior appearances for his country, is said to have impressed United scouts on several occasions this term.

He is, however, contracted to his current club until 2027, which would put Atalanta in a commanding position during any potential negotiations.
