Manchester United travel to Turkey on Wednesday for a crucial Champions League fixture against Galatasaray.

The Red Devils have endured a dismal European campaign so far and are on the brink of elimination from the competition at the group stage.

At present, Erik ten Hag’s side sit bottom of Group A, having won one and lost three of their four matches so far.

Defeat to Galatasaray would edge United even closer to an early exit, so the Dutchman will be desperate to see his side build on their victory over Everton last time out.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial earned United a crucial win over the Toffees on Sunday, but it appears that one of their goal scorers could be allowed to leave in January.

As per Football Insider, forward Anthony Martial faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford and could be allowed to leave the club when the transfer window reopens in the new year.

Martial scored his first goal of the season against Everton on Sunday

The 27-year-old’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the current season, and the report claims that his future is yet to be decided.

United would reportedly be willing to let him leave if a suitable offer is made for the player, but they will only do so if they have first signed a new forward.

Over the summer, the Manchester outfit signed Rasmus Hojlund from Italian club Atalanta, but the Dane is yet to score in the Premier League.

Martial joined the club from French giants Monaco back in 2015 and was a regular for the Red Devils for several seasons, before falling out of favour at the club over the past couple of years.

He has scored 90 goals in 314 matches across all competitions for United since joining the club eight years ago, but he has largely played a bit-part role so far this term, starting just three league games.
