England face Slovenia in their final Euro 2024 group game on Tuesday.

Gareth Southgate’s side beat Serbia 1-0 in their opener, before being held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Denmark last time out.

The former Middlesbrough boss has been criticised for his management in recent months, most recently during the draw against the Danes.

Southgate chose to omit a number of experienced players from his squad for the ongoing tournament, and it appears that one of the biggest names could be sold by his club this summer.

According to Football Insider, Manchester United are considering selling forward Marcus Rashford during the current transfer window.

The report claims that Rashford’s future is extremely uncertain at present, with United willing to sell the star is a marquee signing is made in attack.

Rashford could make a shock departure from Old Trafford this summer

Rashford, 26, is a product of the Red Devils’ youth academy and has now played more than 400 times for the club across all competitions.

He has scored 131 goals in that time, as well as registering 65 assists, but his dip in form last term prompted England boss Southgate to leave him out of his squad for this summer’s tournament in Germany.

The attacker scored just eight times in 43 games for Erik ten Hag’s side, and fell out of favour with the Dutchman towards the end of the campaign.

It is claimed that United could have difficulty selling the forward due to his high salary, although a proposed move for Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee could move the Englishman closer to the exit door at Old Trafford.

Rashford’s current contract with United is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but it appears increasingly possible that he could leave his boyhood club before the start of next season.
