Manchester United welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford in their penultimate match of the Premier League season on Wednesday.

The Red Devils have endured a frustrating season so far and currently sit eighth in the Premier League table.

Manager Erik ten Hag is under huge pressure to turn his side’s fortunes around, but speculation is mounting that the Dutchman will be sacked this summer regardless of where his side finish.

In the meantime, it appears that one of United’s defenders could also depart the club this summer.

According to The Sun, full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is likely to depart Old Trafford during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report claims that United are attempting to move the Englishman on, with Diogo Dalot having established himself as Ten Hag’s first choice on the right of his back four.

Wan-Bissaka could leave Manchester United this summer

Wan-Bissaka, 26, joined United from Crystal Palace for a fee of around £45 million in 2019 after impressing for the Eagles.

He has made a total of 187 appearances for the Red Devils since his move to the club, but he has started just 18 Premier League matches so far this term.

The Englishman has one year remaining on his current deal with United, but a return to former club Palace has been touted.

United will, however, likely have to take a significant loss on the right-back, who is likely to be made available for around £20 million.

Wan-Bissaka is set to follow both Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial in leaving United this summer.

It is even claimed that the club have had a t-shirt printed with a picture of Wan-Bissaka lifting the Carabao Cup last season.
