Manchester United continued their pre-season preparations with a 3-2 win over Spanish side Real Betis on Thursday morning.

The Red Devils had been beaten 1-0 by Rosenborg in their first friendly of the summer, before beating Scottish side Rangers 2-0.

Erik ten Hag’s side were then beaten 2-1 by Premier League rivals Arsenal, but they returned to winning ways against Betis on Thursday, with Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo and Casemiro all on the scoresheet.

United were without new signing Leny Yoro, who suffered an injury during their last friendly.

The defender became United’s second signing of the summer, following the arrival of striker Joshua Zirkzee.

Now, it appears that one of United’s current midfielders is attracting interest from a Premier League rival.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Fulham have made an initial offer for Scotland international Scott McTominay.

The Italian journalist claims that the Cottagers’ opening offer is worth in excess of £20 million, although it is expected to be rejected by the Red Devils.

United are said to value the player at closer to £30 million, and would be willing to let the Scot leave for a fee in that region.

McTominay, 27, joined United’s youth academy as a teenager and gradually progressed into the first team, establishing himself as a regular at Old Trafford over the past few seasons.

In total the Scot has made more than 250 appearances for the Red Devils across all competitions, scoring 29 goals and registering eight assists.

The central midfielder is contracted to United until the end of the upcoming season, which means he could sign a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club in January.

United could therefore opt to cash in on him during the current transfer window, rather than losing him for free next year.
