Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim will hope to see his side improve once again when they face Liverpool on Sunday.

Following a disastrous start to the new Premier League season, the Red Devils beat Sunderland last time out and kept a clean sheet for the first time this term.

While United have only won three of their seven league games so far, Amorim will hope to see his side build on that victory against a Liverpool side that have lost each of their past three matches.

Away form the action, it has emerged that the Manchester outfit could be eyeing a shock January move for a young Englishman.

According to German outlet BILD via GiveMeSport, the Red Devils are contemplating an audacious move to sign midfielder Jobe Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the new year.

Jobe, younger brother of England international Jude, joined Dortmund from Sunderland over the summer, having helped the Black Cats secure a return to the top flight through the play-offs.

Since following in his brother’s footsteps and making the switch to Dortmund, however, Bellingham has struggled to force his way into the first team.

In total the 20-year-old has started just two of Niko Kovac’s side’s six Bundesliga games, although he has appeared as a substitute in the other four.

The report suggests that the player could therefore be unhappy with his current role at the German side, with Man United potentially looking to take advantage of that situation.

United boss Amorim is said to be a huge admirer of the midfielder, and it is claimed that United could make a move to sign the star when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Manchester outfit have been on the hunt for a new midfielder for some time now, with the likes of Carlos Baleba and Adam Wharton linked with a move to Old Trafford during the recent summer window.
