Manchester United fans can look forward to an exciting frontline next season, with the addition of Jadon Sancho to the club’s already impressive attack enough to scare even the most solid of defences.

While the likes of Sancho and Marcus Rashford may miss out on the season opener against Leeds United on Saturday after their efforts at Euro 2020, the likelihood is that the pair will feature in United’s front three once they return.

Until then, the likes of Mason Greenwood and Daniel James may be given the opportunity to impress.

The pair both face the prospect of limited first team action as they aim to worm their way into United’s star-studded side, but Greenwood’s ability to play across the front line will benefit him.

At the centre of the attack, in the absence of Edinson Cavani, who is also returning late after his exertions at the Copa America, Anthony Martial will likely be given the nod.

The Frenchman scored just seven times last season and struggled with injuries and spells of poor form.

Despite this, the 25-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from Europe’s top clubs.

Greenwood and Martial will likely be relied upon for the opening games of United’s season.

Serie A champions Inter Milan, who look set to lose Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea in the coming days, are reportedly keen on the Frenchman.

According to Sky Sports, however, the Red Devils will not let the striker leave this summer.

The report suggests that Martial, who is under contract with the club until 2024, will not be allowed to leave due to an injury to Rashford.

Martial missed several weeks of last season after sustaining an injury while on international duty with France in March, but is once again in Solskjaer’s plans ahead of the new campaign.

Martial managed just four league goals last term, and it had been anticipated that he might depart the club this summer.
