Manchester United held Premier League title-chasers Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The visitors took the lead through Luis Diaz, before two quick second-half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo turned the game on its head and put United in front.

The Red Devils looked to be heading for a memorable victory, until Aaron Wan-Bissaka was penalised for a trip in the penalty area, with Mohamed Salah dispatching the spot-kick to draw the Reds level.

Jurgen Klopp’s side now sit second in the table, level on points with leaders Arsenal, while United remain sixth.

In the meantime, it appears that one of United’s transfer targets could prove costly.

As per GIVEMESPORT, the Manchester club would have to spend in the region of £50 million to land Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.

Muniz is one of the most in-form players in the Premier League at present

Having joined the Cottagers from Flamengo in 2021, Muniz was relatively impressive during the Cottagers’ last season in the Championship, before being loaned to Middlesborough.

He endured a frustrating loan spell at The Riverside last season, before returning to London last summer.

Muniz failed to score in any of his first ten Premier League appearances this term, but has now netted eight times in his last eight games.

The report claims that Muniz dreams of a move to Old Trafford, but his recent impressive form has prompted Fulham to increase their asking price for the forward.

Muniz, 22, netted just two goals in 17 games while on loan at Boro, and the report suggests that the Brazilian would have been available for a small fee just months ago after his run of poor form.

The striker has since enjoyed a significant turnaround, though, and is now one of the most in-form players in the division.
