Arsenal welcome rivals Tottenham Hotspur to The Emirates for the North London derby on Sunday afternoon.

Having finished second in the Premier League last term, Mikel Arteta’s side have started the new campaign in fine form and currently sit fourth in the table, although victory on Sunday would see them leapfrog the Lilywhites.

Spurs have also started the new season strongly, though, and currently sit second in the table behind reigning champions Manchester City.

Arteta will have to make a big decision when it comes to selecting a goalkeeper for the game, with David Raya having been preferred to Aaron Ramsdale for the Gunners’ last two matches.

The Spaniard could also make changes to his backline for the derby, but it appears that he also has his eye on a defender from a fellow Premier League club.

As per The Mirror, the Gunners are one of three huge Premier League clubs monitoring Brentford’s Aaron Hickey.

The report claims that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all interested in the Scot, who has played a pivotal role for the Bees ever since joining the club from Bologna last year.

Hickey has attracted interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs

In total the 21-year-old has made 32 appearances for Brentford, but his impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed and the Bees could now face a battle to keep hold of the player.

Primarily a right-back, Hickey is also able to play on the left side of defence and his versatility will undoubtedly have appealed to all three clubs.

It is also claimed that German champions Bayern Munich are interested in the defender, who is currently contracted to the club until the summer of 2026.

Brentford would reportedly demand a fee in the region of £50 million for the full-back, but it remains to be seen whether or not any of the interested clubs would agree to that fee.
