Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in a game that could prove crucial to determining which sides finish in the top four of the Premier League.

The Red Devils have endured a difficult season so far and currently sit ninth in the table, while Spurs have recovered from a dip in form at the end of November and now occupy fifth spot.

United manager Erik ten Hag will be hoping to see his side show improvement when they face the Lilywhites, while Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to leave Old Trafford with at least a point.

In the meantime, it appears that one of United’s midfielders has agreed a loan move to a Spanish side.

According to Football Insider, Hannibal Mejbri has ‘said yes’ to a proposed move to La Liga side Sevilla.

Hannibal is expected to join Sevilla on loan

The 20-year-old is a product of United’s youth academy but has made just 13 appearances for the club at senior level, with ten of those being this season.

With the Tunisian having only played a bit-part role for United, the club are prepared to send him out on loan and the report claims that Sevilla have beaten Premier League side Everton in the race to sign the youngster.

The deal will be an initial six-month loan move with a view to Sevilla signing the player permanently this summer, the report claims.

It is also claimed that the final details of the deal could be finalised by the end of the weekend, with Hannibal unlikely to be involved in the game at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Tunisia international spent last season on loan at Championship side Birmingham City and made 41 appearances for the Blues across all competitions, including 38 of their 46 Championship games.
