Manchester United return to action when they face Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils have been in good form lately, winning their last three Premier League games including a 2-1 win over Aston Villa last time out.

The Hatters, who have gone close to getting results against Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City this season, will undoubtedly provide a stern test for Erik ten Hag’s side.

In the meantime, it appears that United’s new leadership have allowed the club to move for a Premier League star this summer.

As per 90min, the Red Devils will prioritise a move for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

The report claims that INEOS, who are set to complete the purchase of 25% of the club this week, have sanctioned the move for the Frenchman, as well as an experienced striker.

Olise is set to be the subject of interest from several clubs this summer

Despite this, the report also claims that the new investors are keen to appoint a sporting director before turning their attention to the transfer market, where their initial focus will be on outgoings.

Anthony Martial, Casemiro, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are said to be among those most likely to depart Old Trafford this summer.

Olise, 22, has been impressive ever since joining the Eagles from Football League side Reading in 2021.

In total the former France Under-21 international has played 82 times across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 22 assists.

This season, Olise has netted six times in 11 Premier League games but has also missed several matches due to injury and was forced off against Brighton and Hove Albion earlier this month.

The forward’s current contract is set to run until 2027, but it appears that he will be the subject of significant interest this summer.
